Dr Saboor Javaid
Saboor is an Environmental Scientist and Educational Entrepreneur with twenty years of professional experience in teaching, research, consultancy, leadership and management. Saboor achieved his Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Applied Environmental Sciences from Brunel University London, and a Post Doctorate. His research was in the development and optimization of treatment technologies for environmental pollution control. He has invented novel technologies for environmental pollution control.
Saboor is member of Royal Society of Chemistry (MRSC) and Licentiate Chartered Institute of Waste Management (LCIWM). His research interests are solid waste management, recycling, industrial effluent treatment, climate change, impact of chemicals on human health monitoring and control. As and educator and a scientist, he is committed to the aims of Peaceful Planet Human Rights Education because he understands the importance of good health and a good environment for good practice in Human Rights.
Whilst passionate about all matters Environment, Saboor is also an entrepreneur and has held senior positions with a number of further and higher education institutions. His professional senior level experience in both academia and business allows him to execute a strategic goal oriented vision into a business structure to support sustainable development goals (SDGs).
In addition to these, Saboor has been involved in many charitable and social activities. Currently, Saboor is an executive member and ambassador of peace for United Nation Association of Pakistan.
Extensive experience, within local and global environments, along with strong leadership ability proven at senior level positions within education institutions, Saboor focuses on consulting, strategies, processes and controls that significantly improve business performance, working capital and profitability.
