Rehana Ali
Rehana Ali is a UK-based educator, coach, and passionate advocate for human rights, known for her creative and positive approach to promoting equality and justice, with a background that spans academics, research, leadership, training and diplomacy, she has made significant contributions to educating the diverse British society about the values of equality and justice. Rehana actively empowers women, raises awareness about modern-day slavery, human trafficking and highlights oppression in conflict regions like Kashmir, Palestine and around the world globally advocating for freedom and respect.
Rehana works as the International Activities Officer for UPF UK, Rehana also collaborates with various charities and NGOs to promote peace, climate change, and human dignity. She is a dedicated ambassador for multiple organisations, focusing on raising awareness about human rights issues and advocating for the restoration of rights for the marginalised and voiceless. Her efforts are guided by the principles outlined in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, particularly Article 1, which asserts that all human beings are born free and equal in dignity and rights.
Rehana has been selected as one of the UN Women UK CSW 68 delegates for 2024 and is currently pursuing a Master’s in Human Rights and International Relations. She continues to champion human rights through community engagement, organising conferences, seminars, and workshops in the British Parliament and other venues.
Rehana is a prominent female human rights activist, particularly noted for her work on Kashmir. She founded Voice4SouthAsia and serves as the President of Voice4Kashmir and the Information Secretary of Tehreek-e-Kashmir UK. Also being the Managing Director of K News HD and the host of the show “Live with Rehana Ali,” she utilises media platforms to educate communities on human rights violations and advocate for global diversity and peace.
